You are a first-time college student if you are starting college for the first time after high school, and you want to earn a PCC degree or transfer to a four-year school.

By completing this form, you will:

  • Learn about:
    1. Placements
    2. Academic goals
    3. General Education (GE)
    4. Full-time vs. part-time enrollment
    5. FYE sign-up
    6. Clearing holds.
  • Make key decisions about your first semester.
  • Receive your first semester ed plan based on your selections.

What to Expect:

  • 6 sections, about 20-30 minutes.
  • No save function - if you need more time, skip ahead to read and take notes, then come back to submit.
  • Complete every section. Missing info may delay your ed plan.
  • Anything in red is a link. Open it to learn more.
  • Use a desktop or laptop for the best experience.

Before You Start, Have These Ready:

  1. Your Lancer/PCC ID#
  2. Activate your LancerPoint account
  3. Your PCC student email address (LancerPointUserName@go.pasadena.edu) (See How to Setup Your PCC email for help!)
  4. Completed online orientation 
  5. If they apply to you (you will be asked to attach these):
    • Unofficial college transcripts
    • Dual/concurrent enrollment records
    • AP/IB exam scores

After you submit:

  • You will get a "received" confirmation email. 
  • Your counselor will email your educational plan to your PCC email within 10 business days (or longer during busy periods).
  • You can reply to that email with any follow-up questions.
