Licensed Vocational Nurse to Registered Nurse


The LVN to RN (Career Ladder) option is for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who wishes to become a Registered Nurse (RN). The program will prepare you with the additional theoretical and clinical skills to qualify you for an Associate Degree in Nursing and allow you to take the NCLEX-RN exam for licensure to work as a Registered Nurse.

    Three Semesters

  • Program Completion:

    Associate Degree in Nursing with a Certificate of Achievement in Registered Nursing and eligibility for the National Council Licensing Examination-Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN).

January 1 - January 31 Admission to the program  will begin with the first course, N210 Nursing Role Transition, in the Summer intersession.

July 5 - July 20 Admission to the program will begin with the first course, N210 Nursing Role Transition, in the Winter intersession.
