Dream Service Incentive Grant Program
The DSIG Program is a paid volunteer opportunity through the California Student Aid Commission, giving students the chance to gain meaningful experience while earning a grant. Participants can serve both on and off campus, contributing to programs that support and uplift the community.
Students can receive up to $4,500 per academic year by completing 300 volunteer hours.
Eligibility: Demonstrate sufficient financial need (determined by CSAC and verified by PCC’s Financial Aid Office)
- Complete a California Dream Act Application (CADAA) for the academic year
- Be an active recipient of a Cal Grant A or B award
- Cal Grant A recipients must meet Cal Grant B eligibility
Students have been placed on campus with programs such as:
- APIDA Initiatives
- Black Student Success Centro
- EQUIPO
- Dream Resource Center
- Pride Center
- Office of Student Life
Tasks can include outreach, event support, mentoring, or assisting with research and administrative projects.
