If you meet AB 540 criteria, you may complete the CA Dream Act Application for financial aid.

To check the status of a California Dream Act Application (CADAA), students should create or log in to a WebGrants 4 Students (WG4S) account at mygrantinfo.csac.ca.gov.

AB 540 students who submit a CA Dream Act may be eligible for the following:

  • Tuition Waivers
  • Cal Grants
  • Student Success Completion Grant
  • Dream Service Incentive Grant
  • College Corps
  • EOPS

Important Forms to Know

G-55 Form
Use this form if you completed the wrong financial aid application (e.g., submitted FAFSA instead of the DREAM Act).

G-4 GPA Verification
A GPA is required to be considered for a new Cal Grant award. Most public California high schools, community colleges, and universities submit your GPA electronically, so most students do not need to complete this form.

  • Use the Cal Grant GPA Verification Form only if your school has not submitted your GPA electronically.
  • Renewal Cal Grant recipients do not need to submit this form.

SAP Appeal (Satisfactory Academic Progress)
If you do not meet the academic progress standards required for your program—A.A. degree, A.S. degree, certificate, or transfer—you may need to submit a SAP Appeal. Students must maintain at least a 2.00 cumulative GPA. Typically, tuition waivers are not affected by SAP appeals.

Loss of CCPG Appeal
To continue receiving the California College Promise Grant (CCPG), students must meet the academic and progress standards of the CCPG program. If you fail to meet these standards for two consecutive semesters, you will lose your CCPG eligibility. Students who lose eligibility due to academic performance may submit a Loss of CCPG Appeal.
